The magic of Shikara.

The moment I stepped into the boat I realized that for another half an hour I am going to experience serenity in truest sense.
This was during our hostel trip to Silvasa when we visited the Dudhni lake for a shikara ride.
The comfortable boat had pillows and chatai spread for the tourists. I lied down to let it simply cast a magic on me. The rays, brushing the water waves created a spectrum, it was a common yet unparallel touch of two diverse forms of nature.
I held my feet in water. The waves swept my feet pulling it down, tickling in an unusual way and giving me serene experience. Without any resistance I gave the authority to nature to amaze me. I rolled my eyes over the ocean and saw it covered with beautiful green mountains, one side was the sun as if like a king on throne who has the line of minister standing in the Kingdom. I let it sink in, the water, the waves brushing my feet, the mountains, the comfort, the rays of sun and the presence of those for whom I am important and who are important for me.
