They say, I should not cry, because I am a boy. They had hit me hard in school, mocked me and called me bloody fool. The tears started falling down my cheeks.

But Oh sorry! That was a crime I suppose I did. The kids laughed. I wondered whether there was a joke that had been cracked. Or my tear droplets were different from theirs, that led to the merriness in the air.

They shouted ‘Oh look, he is a girl who cries,

the smack would not have hurt even a fly’ I ran back home, Crying I called my mom She didn’t ask for the reason of my tears, rather her look made me fear.

She said ‘ first shut up, you are a boy and you are not

supposed to cry, a girl can cry even in vain

but you have to hide your pain. I told her ‘ I am not an iron man, i am hurt and i am human’ she replied ‘This is how world works, boys have to be strong and tough’

Now I ask the world, ‘Are we hulk or robots

who have their feelings curled?’

World didn’t reply. I told my tears to get dry. I found the way to the abatement of my pain,

That was to transfer it and continue the chain.

Even I started hitting the kids and found immense happiness in it.

If it wouldn’t have been the laugh or the mothers wrath. If world would have understood our pain, and would have given us freedom to show our pain.

Then the men would not have been known for their anger, Their tool would not have been the dagger, They might not be the reason for violence, Because they would know how much the effect is intense.

So, never ever say that to a kid

‘Hey don’t cry, because you are a boy’
